Vintage Gramophone Advent Calendar
This Advent calendar from Germany is a miniature working gramophone, adding a melodious twist to the classic Advent countdown tradition. Each day from the 1st to the 24th of December has its very own little 2” diameter “record” – with lovely Yuletide illustrations – to play on the gramophone. Simply move the stylus to the vinyl and it will begin playing a 30- to 40-second snippet of a beautiful Christmas carol. It’s sure to delight holiday revelers of all ages!

Music Notes
Most Western music is based on a system of notation that evolved around 1600 out of earlier practices. The starting point for any opera is the full score, which contains all individual voices and instruments arranged in a specific order on the page. The written music—representing the sounds a composer creates in his head—then comes to life performed by singers onstage and played by the orchestra.
