What is your return policy?
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return your unused, unopened and undamaged merchandise within 30 days for a prompt refund to the original form of payment or an even exchange. Gift recipients are eligible for an exchange only. Unfortunately, we cannot offer free shipping or free returns on international orders.
We do not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges for custom order apparel, all lighting (sconces & chandeliers), sculpture, or gift card purchases.
To return an item you have two options:
1) Call customer care at 212-501-3482 and they will issue you a FedEx return label by email or mail, please have your order number available.
A charge of $10 will be incurred for use of the return label.
2) You can also use your own label for no additional fee and send your return to:

A copy of your receipt (for in store purchases) or packing slip (for web orders) is required in order to receive a credit. We recommend you insure your package if you are not using our return label.
The Met Opera Shop reserves the right to deny refund if the merchandise does not meet return policy requirements.
Shipping and handling charges for returned merchandise are non-refundable unless we have made a shipping error.
Can I return an item to the Met Opera Shop at Lincoln Center?
Returns cannot be accepted in the store. If you purchased an item online, you must return it in the same packaging, using the return label provided.
The Met Opera Shop will refund the original form of payment only if it meets the guidelines of the return policy.
Your refund will be processed within approximately 14 days of receiving your merchandise. Your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account.
