My Life Is An Opera features fifteen previously unreleased arias and duets recorded in London with French conductor Yvan Cassar.  As a whole, this CD illustrates his career and his life.

Roberto Alagna was born of Sicilian parents, who had settled in the Paris suburbs. In the family everyone sang, but he, who had the most beautiful voice, was sometimes told to be quiet. Still, he knew he had a calling and thankfully, for the world he pursued it.

This megastar is, arguably, the most-well known French tenor today, with a stage career, which spans thirty years.  During that time, he has performed an astonishing sixty opera roles—a distinction, which has rarely been achieved by any other.
