Tristan und Isolde (Blu-ray)

In celebration of the 150th anniversary of Tristan und Isolde this production was premiered on July 25, 2015 and marked the high-point of last year’s Bayreuth Festival. Staged by the composer’s great-granddaughter, Katharina Wagner, the production includes such noted singers as Stephen Gould, Evelyn Herlitzius, Georg Zeppenfelds and Iain Paterson as well as the magisterial conducting of Christian Thielemann.
