The Cyclone Earrings

Located in Coney Island, New York, the Cyclone is an historic, wooden roller coaster, which opened on June 26, 1927, and was designated a
New York City landmark on July 12, 1988.

These delightful earrings are patterned after the Cyclone and reflective of the Coney, Island setting featured in the Met’s brilliant production of Mozart’s, Così fan tutte.

Made of solid brass, electroplated with a non-tarnishing silver finish,
a giclee print, dome shape and hypo-allergenic ear wires, they hang approximately 2 inches long.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Così fan tutte

Mozart’s third and final collaboration with librettist Lorenzo Da Ponte premiered in 1790. For much of the 19th and early 20th centuries, this comedy about testing the ties of young love was rarely seen on stage, its plot being considered “immoral.” Today it is among the most beloved operas in the repertoire.
