Swan Egg Music Box
This spectacular music box, fashioned in the shape of a swan egg is made of ceramic and finished in an aqua glaze.
Displayed upright on graciously curved, gold legs, it sits nestled within a sculptural façade of three silver swans with gilded beaks. The stand and egg are one piece.
When opened, the egg plays a delightful rendering of Tchaikovsky’s Schwanensee from Swan Lake.
It is created in the elaborate style of the historically famous Fabergé eggs created for the Russian Imperial family between 1885 and 1916.
This stunning piece is reflective of the set and costume designs seen in the American Ballet Theatre's production of Swan Lake.
