Description
Rossini Art Glass Paperweight
This striking, handmade lead crystal, round paperweight depicts a handsome bronze medallion featuring the profile of Italian composer,
Gioachino Rossini (1792–1868), who made his debut at the age of eighteen and went on to write 39 operas, including many famous works like The Barber of Seville, William Tell and La Cenerentola performed at the Metropolitan Opera.
It is made of dichroic glass, containing multiple micro-layers of metals, which allow the colors within the piece to shift depending on the angle of view. A unique three-dimensional printing technology is used to create highly defined details.
In addition to holding papers in place, this paperweight is a
one-of-a-kind decorative object, which can be displayed on a desk, shelf or table.
Measuring 3" diameter x 1 1/4" H, each piece is signed by the artist, Robin Lehman.
