Musical Notes Black Velvet Reversible Rain Cape

This stylish black velvet rain cape features a flocked pattern of black musical notes on one side and reverses to solid black for a dressier look.

An excellent alternative to a heavy rain jacket, the everyday windbreaker or a one-time-use poncho, this fashionable, lightweight cape is water repellant on both sides and has a generous size hood designed to resist billowing.

Hidden double-sided magnets create “sleeves” for a strong hold against the elements. Two shell buttons provide an attractive look and adjustable fit. Roomy and breathable it is made of 100% polyester and has a silky-soft touch.

Measures 23” long from shoulder to wrist and 30” long from the neckline to the bottom of the back hem. 55” wide arm span. Has a complete rain range all the way to the waist.

Folds into a 10” long x 8” high matching travel pouch with snap-on strap. The cape with pouch weighs 9 oz. One size fits most.

An ideal gift for lovers of great music like that heard year-round at the Metropolitan Opera.

Music Notes

Most Western music is based on a system of notation that evolved around 1600 out of earlier practices. The starting point for any opera is the full score, which contains all individual voices and instruments arranged in a specific order on the page. The written music—representing the sounds a composer creates in his head—then comes to life performed by singers onstage and played by the orchestra.
