Musical Crocodile Soft Toy

This musical crocodile soft toy is a fun way to introduce your baby to lullabies. it is made of 100% polyester and measures
4” wide x 6” long x 5 ½” high.

Gently pull the cord on the outside by the handle and a musical mechanism inside plays a tune for 2 ½ minutes.

The soft toy can be machine-washed after removing the musical device. Instructions for removing and installing it are included.

Animals in the Opera

From Aida to Carmen, from Die Zauberflöte to the Ring cycle—animals both real and mythological have been seen on the operatic stage for centuries.

Horses, donkeys, bears, elephants, birds, dragons, and many others are featured as minor, and sometimes major, characters in operas performed all over the world. In the Met’s first season at Lincoln Center in 1966–67, goats and a camel were seen in the world premiere of Barber’s Antony and Cleopatra.

More recently, horses have graced the stage in La Fanciulla del West, among others, a mule appeared in Pagliacci, and a pair of Irish Wolfhounds starred in Lucia di Lammermoor. Audience favorite Sir Gabriel the Donkey has had recurring roles in Il Barbiere di Siviglia and La Bohème.
