In September 2019, the world lost one of the most prolific musical talents of all time, the majestic and unmistakably radiant American soprano, Jessye Norman. An unrivalled and towering figure on stage and in the studio, Ms. Norman was a trailblazer and highly decorated.

This 45-disc limited and original jacket collection features a plethora of solo recitals, sacred and spiritual songs, orchestral lieder, American songbook favorites, and live recitals made for the Decca, Philips, and Deutsche Grammophon labels throughout her illustrious career.

Video material includes an intimate film made by André Heller featuring interviews and performances of many of her signature arias and songs; Christmas concerts from Notre-Dame and Ely Cathedrals; and a live recital of Handel, Schubert, and Schumann from the 1987 Hohenems Festival.

Accompanying the collection is a 120-page booklet with authoritative liner notes by George Hall, along with reminiscences and tributes from Ms. Norman’s friends, former colleagues, and producers.
